Accredited professional photographer and Photoshop CS5 graphic artist, Alan Timberlake has been shooting images professionally since 1980, when he began freelancing for local newspapers and magazines, and shooting studio portraits and wedding albums for clients.
Alan started shooting seriously with a 35mm Zeis Ikon in 1970, producing scenic prints of Lake District National Park in the UK.
Alan
believes he inherited the photography gene from his grandfather, Joe
Banks, an avid photographer who ground his own lenses and mixed
chemicals from powders bought at local "chemists" during the 1940's in
Northern England.
The School of Photography and Studios was founded in Prince George, British Columbia.
Photography services and courses are now offered in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
